Gymnastics Tryouts

Today was the first day of gymnastics tryouts for the Union Springs Aeros. It was quite encouraging as most of the kids there were able to "keep up" with me through most of the excercises. So I at least know that I will have a group of hard workers if nothing else. I haven't gotten into the skills portion of the tryouts with them yet that will progress slowly over the next few days. It always makes me feel good when I have 30+ peopel trying out for my team with a school that has an enrollment of just over 60. I really really love coaching and teaching these kids about gymnastics. Its awesome to see them progress over the course of the year. As I continue to post I will try and begin to add some pictures. I just don't want to get too gunho since I know that I will probably fizzle out in a short while.

I've succomb to the evil that is.

I finally have created a blog. Much to my chagrine and distaste. I have done this due to the fact that in order to post on one of my friend's blog I had to be a registered user.....boooo. Oh well this will probably never get updated or at least very infrequently but I will give it a shot.
